Secret Square is the band of Hilarie Sidney, the drummer of The Apples In Stereo, with help from her friend Lisa Janssen (who played bass on a couple of tracks on the first Neutral Milk Hotel album). There have been 2 releases, both confusingly titled Secret Square; a 7" single (E6-003) and a LP/CD (E6-005).

The last 4 tracks are bonus demo tracks only available on the CD. Jim McIntyre (ex of The Apples In Stereo and now recording as Von Hemmling) contributes bass to Light Of The Sun.
