Pipes You See, Pipes You Don't is the solo project of Peter Erchick (The Olivia Tremor Control, The Circulatory System). He has released a couple of tracks on various compilations. Jessica was a Jandek cover released on the tribute album Naked in the Afternoon. The song North Carolina is available on the compilation U.S. Pop Life, Volume 5 - Athens: The Invention to be Nobody & Nowhere.

The first album Individualized Shirts was self-released August 2001.

In November, 2002 a homemade tour CD was released entitled Special Fanfare for Anything. It's a limited edition of 100 copies. In December, the compilation Pools Of Notes In Various Forms was released by the Japanese label Quien. It features the PYSPYD song Emergency Room.

In June 2003, Orange Twin Records will re-release Individualized Shirts.
