My First Keyboard is the solo recording project of Dottie Alexander who also plays in
Of Montreal, Marshmallow Coast,
and Great Lakes. But the rest of Of Montreal sort of
act as a backing band and make appearances on the recordings.
They released a split single with Marshmallow Coast as part of the
Kindercore singles club. The songs also appear on Of Montreal's
b-sides collection called Horse and Elephant Eatery (No Elephants Allowed) - The singles and songles album.
